Air Force Magazine is the monthly journal of the Air Force Association and one of the world's foremost publications in the fields of defense and aerospace reporting. From Air Force operations, programs, and people to the exploits of USAF’s heroes, Air Force​ Magazine reports on important aerospace news and developments and provides authoritative background material.

Air Force Magazine is the reference for the Air Force and aerospace professionals. Its special issues and features include the annual USAF Almanac, a compendium of historical and up-to-date data and information on the Air Force, its units, and weapons.

Mitchell Institute Reports

Mitchell's scholarly research reports and papers aim to inform defense policy leaders and practitioners, experts, government, the private sector, and the general public about key topics of interest pertaining to national defense and aerospace power in the 21st century. Mitchell seeks to champion authors whose work provides innovative, insightful, and effective ideas and solutions which strengthen and enhance aerospace power's vital role in our national defense and securing America's interests. 


President's Perspective

AFA's President Lt Gen Bruce "Orville" Wright's Perspectives on Air Force and national security issues. Wright directs the association's professional staff. He is responsible for the management and operations of AFA and its 97,000 members, and he serves as the publisher of Air Force Magazine, the official journal of the Air Force Association.
