StellarXplorers’ National Space Design Competition Completes Final Qualification Round 

The third and final qualification round of the 2023-2024 StellarXplorers National Space Design competition was held January 25-28. Teams were tasked with determining the best launch vehicle for a provided scenario while remaining within budget and weight restrictions. 

This was the final chance for teams to maximize their scores in hopes of advancing to the semifinal round, to be held February 8-11. The top 30 percent of teams will advance based on their cumulative scores from the three qualification rounds. Learn more about the season at www.StellarXplorers.org. 

The National Finals competition for the 2023-2024 competition season will be held at the Sheraton Denver Tech Center Hotel in Greenwood Village, Colo., from April 18-20. The 10 teams advancing out of the semifinal round will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to compete for the title of national champion.
