StellarCamps Wrap Up for 2023

Thank you to all organizations that hosted StellarCamps this summer. We hope you and your students enjoyed the curriculum and gained a deeper understanding of space principles. As a reminder to those who attended, please complete your participant survey to provide feedback so we can make adjustments for next summer.

StellarXplorers Director Rebecca Dalton had the opportunity to join a virtual StellarCamp hosted by the New Jersey CAP’s Capt. “Bud” Jackson Composite Squadron. Dalton spoke with more than 50 campers and their parents about the importance of STEM education and answered questions about the upcoming StellarXplorers competition season.

If you have questions about hosting a camp next year, please contact info@stellarxplorers.org

Interested in helping StellarXplorers? Become a Technical Mentor!

StellarXplorers teams are typically led by teachers, but not all teachers feel equipped to prepare their students for the competition. Because of this, many teams rely on technical mentors to help them prepare.

If you have a strong understanding of determining orbits, selecting satellite components, and/or choosing the optimal launch vehicle for a mission, please consider becoming a mentor. The time commitment is up to the mentor, and the schedule is agreed up on with the team director. Mentorship can be conducted virtually or in person.

More information on becoming a technical mentor is available here
