Swamp Fox Chapter Surpasses $10,000 in Scholarships to USC Sumter

AFA’s Swamp Fox Chapter reached a major milestone, surpassing $10,000 in total scholarship contributions to the University of South Carolina Sumter. For the past 20 years, the chapter has awarded an annual $500 scholarship to deserving students pursuing higher education.

This year’s recipient, Abigail Chavez-Ramirez, received the 2025 scholarship from Tech. Sgt. Greggria Sylvester of Shaw Air Force Base, the Swamp Fox Chapter’s Vice President of Education.

The Swamp Fox Chapter celebrated the achievement and extended its congratulations to both Chavez-Ramirez and the broader AFA community. The chapter looks forward to continuing its commitment to supporting academic excellence with another scholarship in 2026.
