If you’re a credentialed voter, you will receive an email from our digital election platform which contains a link for each voter as well as a unique access key and password. Voting can done from any electronic device where you can receive emails and/or text messages. Here’s what to expect.

What if my ballot link doesn’t work or I have trouble voting?

If you experience any issues with your ballot link or have trouble casting your vote, please contact elections@afa.org immediately for assistance. We’re here to help!

How do I know my vote was submitted?

After submitting your ballot via ElectionBuddy, you will see a confirmation screen with a unique confirmation number. You’ll also receive a confirmation email for your records. If you don’t see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folder.

Can I change my vote after I’ve submitted it?

If you need to make a change to your vote, contact elections@afa.org right away.

What happens if I miss the voting deadline?

Unfortunately, voting deadlines are strictly enforced. If you miss the deadline, your opportunity to vote will be forfeited. We encourage you to vote as early as possible within the designated window (8:00 AM ET on Saturday, September 20 to 8:00 AM ET on Sunday, September 21).

I didn’t receive my voting email. What should I do?

First, check your spam or junk folder. If you are a credentialed delegate and still haven’t received your ballot, email elections@afa.org for support.

I registered for the Convention but didn’t receive voting credentials. Why not?

Registering for the Convention does not automatically make you a credentialed delegate. Only individuals listed on their State President’s official delegate form will receive voting credentials. If you believe there has been an oversight, please reach out to your State President or contact elections@afa.org for clarification.
