A Message from the President

Friends,
Yesterday I sent our members an email outlining AFA’s response to what’s about to become the longest government shutdown in American history. Today I am repeating my clarion call: Our Airmen, Guardians, and their Families need your help.
Visit www.afa.org/shutdown to learn how you can support our emergency initiative. There are two main ways you can help:
- Talk to your Representative and Senators. Be vocal. Use my op-ed and our letter to the Hill to inform your argument.
- Contribute to our emergency relief fund. The more funding we have, the more our Chapters can help in their local communities.
The prolonged government shutdown is putting our national security at risk. It’s putting our military family’s security at risk.
It’s time to reopen.
